Golfers Feed Kids on Weekends
☀️ The weather was perfect.
⛳️ The course was immaculate.
🏓 The tennis courts were ready for play to begin.
Seventy-six golfers and 12 tennis players arrived at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park on October 10, 2022, to participate in the 2022 Chicago Golf and Tennis Classic to raise money to help feed kids on weekends. Special guest and lunchtime speaker, Chicago Bulls legend, Will Purdue, reminisced about his world championship days with the Bulls and his memories of his son participating in a Blessings program.
The Classic raised more than $100,000 to help feed kids across the Chicago area.
Highlighting our mission and work was a speech from Melissa Septon, Highland Park Resident, and local Blessings program coordinator.
Thank you to our golfers, tennis players, and generous sponsors: Molex, Mauser Packaging, and The Heico Companies. Special thanks to the entire Chicago Advisory Board and co-chairs: Colleen Bohn, Mike Noel, and Scott Whicker. Truly, many children would be hungry this weekend without your passion and dedication.
