Chicago Cubs Players Team Up with Blessings in a Backpack
On January 11th, Blessings in a Backpack held an extraordinary packing event during which 13 Chicago Cubs players and Cubs Charities packed 200 bags of food at Pederson McCormick Boys and Girls Club! The kids at the club got the opportunity to write cards of encouragement with the players and ‘hang out’ together in their game room afterward.
All the food packed with the Cubs players stayed at Pederson-McCormick to be distributed on Friday.
