The Race to Feed Chicago Feeds Thousands

More than 140 Blessings friends and supporters gathered on April 18 at Protiviti offices in Chicago to determine who has the fastest bag-packing team. 

Fifteen teams battled it out to see who was the fastest. The team captained by Katie McLean came out on top at the end of the day.

The excellent work and impact on children continued. Two thousand bags of healthy, nutritious food were packed and delivered to school children the following day. In addition, nearly $11,000 was raised to purchase food.

The even resulted in more than 4,400 hunger-free, smile-filled weekends. 

Because of your support, our kids can count on Blessings to supply them with food. This not only eases their hunger but also allows them to focus on their school work, enjoy their weekends more, and love the food they receive.
